Carson is dedicated to help men and women accept themselves and to positively affect the lives of others. He is involved with several non-profit organizations that advocate for people of different genders and sexual orientations. |
Carson supports a host of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender organizations including the Human Rights Campaign Federal Club, Human Rights Campaign Federal Club, Manhattan’s Ali Forney center’s 'Styled for Success' program GLAAD (The Gay and Lesbian Association Against Defamation), Heritage of Pride, Inc., The Trevor Project, and GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network).

Carson holds board positions with the Al D. Rodriguez Liver Foundation and the American Saddlebred Museum.

In 2008, Carson hosted the True Colors tour, working closely with several of the musical artists including Cyndi Lauper and the B52s. The tour was created to raise awareness and promote equality for the Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual and Transgender community. |
